As part of its new five-year £100 million contract with the leading pub operator, DHL-Exel will be using Paragon technology to route and schedule the distribution of a wide variety of products - including frozen, chilled and ambient foodstuffs, drinks, glasses, stationery and cleaning materials – all from a National Distribution Centre located in Daventry. This new operation will combine what was previously five disparate supply chains into one, which will help Exel meet Wetherspoon’s goal of cutting the number of deliveries to each pub from an average of 27 to just three per week.
