Using Paragon software to help centralise its entire UK route planning operations has enabled Interfloor to reduce transport costs and cut administration time by 35 per cent. Having helped the flooring products specialist optimise its daily plans, Paragon is now going on to tailor the system configuration to support the operation's development.
The software automatically identifies the best routes, sequences deliveries and selects the most appropriate warehouse. As Logistics Manager Shane Kenny explains, “The software allows a single planner to produce optimised daily plans that ensure we are maximising the efficiency of our own fleet as well as managing our subcontractors more effectively.”
