Paragon's resource management software enables your key transportation resources such as drivers and trucks to be managed effectively. This is a useful tool for transportation managers in charge of making deployment decisions about drivers, trucks and trailers to meet the scheduled routes.

- Ensure that your optimized delivery routes and schedules match your fleet resources and planned drivers' shifts.
As well as defining your driver shift arrangements, including planned vacations, you can also set up your available tractors, trailers, and straight-trucks along with a calendar of their maintenance schedules. The Paragon routing and scheduling system can then utilize this data as part of its optimization process when allocating resources to each load. It can prioritize your regular drivers over more costly carriers and take account of historic work patterns to level driver workloads.
The Paragon truck route schedules can also be monitored in real time using Fleet Controller software linked with vehicle tracking. In this case, you can also keep track of individual resource usage and react efficiently to issues that arise. For example, if a driver is delayed on his first load, the software can automatically reallocate his second load to another driver to maintain efficiency of the overall plan.
Once your delivery schedules have been completed, you can record the work completed by each driver and vehicle, and generate a choice of reports showing transportation resource utilization and performance factors, and highlighting any exceptions.
