This is a great opportunity to join the Development Team of the UK’s leading supplier of vehicle routing and scheduling solutions. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, developing business critical systems for a varied and extensive customer base, which features many household names. You will be working in our in-house development team located in Dorking, Surrey, designing and developing software that is used to plan vehicle movements for complex logistics operations around the world. UK customers include brands such as Argos, Dreams, Fuller’s, Greggs, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Warburtons to name just a few.

We are seeking a permanent, full-time, C#/.Net Software Developer. The role will include designing, developing and maintaining software across the full software stack, using a variety of technologies.

The role requires:

  • A good understanding of Microsoft C#/.Net and the Software Development Lifecycle
  • A good BSc degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • The ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • The ability to communicate effectively with other members of the team
  • A person self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously

Knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial but any necessary training will be given:

WPF, .Net Core, ASP.Net Core, REST, N-Tier Architecture, Dependency Injection (Unity and .NET Core), SOLID design principles, Unit testing (MSTest, XUnit), Mocking frameworks (Moq), SQL Server, WCF, C++, Html, Javascript, Bootstrap, Razor.
