Paragon booth #413E to showcase last mile fulfillment with home delivery system

Paragon Software Systems, Inc., a leader in vehicle routing and scheduling optimization solutions, announces the company will be exhibiting and speaking at Home Delivery World conference in Atlanta, GA on April 8-9, 2015. The conference brings together the heads of operations, fulfillment, and logistics from big box and mid-size retailers to discuss the current challenges in optimizing final mile delivery, reverse logistics, omnichannel fulfillment and other current trends. Paragon will be showcasing Paragon Home Delivery System (HDX) in Booth 413E, along with other routing and scheduling software that helps businesses meet last mile delivery schedules while lowering mileage and transport costs.

“The home delivery market is growing exponentially as more consumers opt to shop online and want their orders to be delivered when they want, where they want,” said William Salter, CEO, Paragon Software Systems. “Paragon Home Delivery System (HDX) enables home delivery and home service companies to offer more accurate delivery times with confidence while improving fleet efficiency. Improvements in customer service must be balanced with home delivery resources, which Paragon HDX does exceptionally well by continually optimizing orders throughout the day.”

Paragon HDX integrates home delivery order management with live route optimization enabling retailers, grocery stores, and home shopping companies to improve their customer service. It helps companies manage their home delivery operations, allowing them to offer customers a choice of delivery options that are viable and cost effective. Dates and times for delivery can be offered that satisfy the customer while also eliminating gaps in schedules, which increases fleet productivity. Paragon HDX routes each order while the order is actually being placed, allowing the system to offer very narrow time slots, which improves customer satisfaction while optimizing route efficiency.
