Paragon, Isotrak and Sainsbury’s have joined forces and seen off the competition to reach the final stages of the Best Use of Technology category at this year’s Motor Transport Awards.

“We are delighted to reach the final stage of these prestigious industry awards,” comments William Salter, Paragon’s Managing Director. “The Best Use of Technology entry from Paragon, Isotrak and Sainsbury’s highlights the success of this unique implementation. The award entry shows how extensive two-way integration between Paragon and Isotrak has improved planning for Sainsbury’s complex multi-shift operation. The live planning system enables Sainsbury’s to rework and optimise plans throughout their execution, cutting costs and improving efficiency across this nationwide operation.”

Motor Transport editor Justin Stanton says: “Congratulations to all those who have made the shortlists: doing so is almost a victory in itself, considering there were 199 entries of high quality that took three days to judge!”

The awards ceremony takes place on 1st July at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
